Clean Up 2022

The Harbour Region team building event was a combination of the principles of team building with a focus on environmental stewardship and community responsibility. Financed by Parliamentary Secretary for local government, the event had volunteers gathering to remove litter and debris from public space and areas in need of attention. These efforts contributed to a cleaner, healthier environment and created a more enjoyable and sustainable community for the residents and visitors alike. The clean up day needed planning and coordination for a suitable date and team for this event to be organised, identification of the clean up activities needed for the area which included litter collection and recycling along with education and awareness amongst participants to discuss and brainstorm ideas for long-term environmental improvement in the Harbour Region.
